Becoming a BPA Transmission Services Customer
BPA operates according to its Open Access Transmission Tariff (Tariff), which provides for open access to its transmission system. It is highly recommended that all applicants read the relevant parts of the Tariff and Transmission Services Business Practices to best understand the terms and conditions of open access transmission service that determine the binding rights and obligations of all Transmission Customers.
There are two steps to become a customer. The first step is to establish your company as an Eligible Customer. The second step is to execute a Network Integration or Point-to-Point Service Agreement with Transmission Services. This page provides the information needed to establish your company as a BPA Transmission Services Customer. To initiate the process, call 360-619-6016 to request the assignment of a Transmission Services Account Executive to assist you.
After talking with a Transmission Account Executive, you will complete the steps below.

| 2. |
Register with the North American Electric Reliability Council (NERC) at http://www.oasis.oati.com/ under Registration as a Transmission Customer. |
