Mentoring Students BPA Transmission employees care about their communities. Many of them volunteer time in local schools helping children read, write, solve math problems and undestand science better. The rewards are fantastic! The volunteers see the light come on for a young kids who are struggling in school or need more one-on-one time to help them excel in school. School budgets are so stretched, they need all the volunteer time they can get." Transmission employees get to teach kids about BPA and how electricity is generated and transmitted to homes, school and businesses. The students get to learn about the types of jobs and career opportunities in the energy field.
