2006 TBL Programs in Review



TBL will review anticipated program levels and expenditures with customers and stakeholders this summer. The Programs in Review is an opportunity to publicly discuss TBL actions and planned spending on its programs for 2008 and 2009, prior to TBL initiating its rate case for the same period. Programs in Review will consist of several regional workshops and possibly technical workshops to present proposed capital and expense levels for transmission and provide an opportunity for stakeholder comment. Please check the calendar for workshop dates and times.

This review will include an overview of TBL’s vision and objectives which include: maintaining system reliability for an improving economy; providing low-cost transmission to the Northwest; maintaining accountability to customers and constituents and heightened environmental consciousness. TBL will discuss accomplishments over the past two years, including completed infrastructure projects, regional collaboration and costs cutting. TBL will also discuss challenges faced by TBL programs such as investing efficiently for reliability and managing a constrained system.
